Use of this website and the purchase of its products and/or services, constitutes your agreement with all policies and terms contained herein.
Healdesign-Healtek Limited owns the copyright to all of the material and content used on this website, including photographs and designs. You may not copy, sell, reproduce, distribute, republish, download, display, post or transmit any part of this website, or its products, without written consent from Healtek Limited.
Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. If you have bookmarked a webpage for later use, please refresh the page before placing your order to ensure payment of the current price and that the item is still available. In the case of orders being placed from out-of-date pages, I reserve the right to invoice or refund the customer for the difference, less admin fees.
Payment & Currency
Healdesign.co.uk is a British based website. All payments are accepted in British Pounds (GBP £) only. In some countries, this website may default to show your own currency on its items. There is also a currency converter provided at the top of each page which can be used as a guide. Whichever currency is shown, please note, your payment will be taken in British Pounds GBP £ and your order confirmation will show this. The current exchange rate will be calculated at the time of your purchase and shown with your payment details. (Please note: your own bank’s currency exchange may differ slightly to the one provided on this website.)

● Credit or Debit Card: – I use an SSL Certificate which enables encryption of sensitive information during online transactions. You can be confident that all information given is safe and secure, and I never see your card details.
(Please note: If you are paying with an American Express card, please use the PayPal checkout button in your shopping cart.)
● PayPal Express: – For PayPal account holders, this is a fast and secure way to make your payment by either credit card or directly from your PayPal account.
● Bank Transfer: – For UK based customers only. Items will be held for 3 days only from the date of order and payment must be received within this time, otherwise your order will be cancelled.
Please be advised that when choosing PayPal Express to pay for your order, the correct shipping location must first be chosen. If it is incorrect, you will be charged the difference (plus an administration fee) for the correct shipping costs.
Purchasing
Clear pictures are shown to allow you to see the jewellery and the natural stones that are available for purchase. In some cases you will receive the exact item shown in the photograph, however if more than one of any item is available, I deem the photographs to be a clear representation of the product.
As with all semi precious gemstones and crystals, there will be slight variations in all the beads used for jewellery products, and in gemstone carvings.
When choosing your healing jewellery or gemstone gift, please take note of the measurements given with the description of each piece. If you require a different size, please contact me with your request, before placing your order. There will be an additional charge for alterations on all wrongly sized jewellery purchases.
Delivery
Wherever possible, I attempt to post all products within 1 working day – Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) of receiving confirmed payment, I use UK Royal Mail for all shipping requirements. For overseas customers, once your item has left the UK, your package will be handed over to your local postal service for delivery.
Packages will be addressed to the exact delivery address entered on your order, so please ensure that the full and correct delivery details have been given.
Shipping options and costs, in relation to your order and shipping destination, are clearly stated in your shopping basket before you reach checkout. See “Shipping / Postage & Packaging” for full details. Please choose your shipping options carefully, as I will not be held liable for any loss or damage to your goods in the post. I recommend you choose the option that includes insurance, as Royal Mail will not fully compensate gemstone jewellery or gemstone gift items that are lost or damaged in the mail, without full insurance coverage. I reserve the right to change the shipping options on certain orders where deemed necessary.
It is the responsibility of the customer to contact Healdesign if your package has not been received within a reasonable amount of time, according to the expected delivery times stated in “Shipping / Postage & Packaging”. In the case of any package being damaged or lost in the post, I will make a claim of compensation from Royal Mail on your behalf. Once the loss or damage has been confirmed by Royal Mail, and not before this time, a reimbursement of your costs will be made where applicable. Royal Mail offers a maximum of only £20 for non-insured items.
In the case that your package is unclaimed and/or returned to me, three attempts to contact you will be made. If there is no response to these contacts, your items will be auctioned and any monies raised will be given to charity. Reposting your returned package will cost the original shipping plus the fee charged to me by the payment processing company through which your payment is made.
Some countries have postal restrictions on semi-precious gemstones and/or jewellery. Please check with Customs & Excise in your chosen destination before placing your order. Items sent from the UK to the EU are subject to VAT and duties in the EU. If you choose to go ahead with the purchase of any item(s) that are restricted, you take full responsibility for any loss or additional costs if the items do not reach their destination. If your package is returned to me, marked “Refused by Customs”, you will receive a refund for your items, less original shipping costs and any fees I have been charged.
Customers are responsible for the payment of any VAT, duties, or fees charged for receipt of their package. If your package is returned to me because of unpaid fees, you will receive a refund for your items, less original shipping costs and any
fees charged to me by the payment processing company through which you originally paid.
Please remember to add healdesign@healtek.co.uk to your email address book to ensure you receive your confirmation, as well as information about when your package has been sent. I am not responsible for emails you do not receive.
Returns / Cancellations / Refunds
I wish you to always be absolutely delighted with any purchase made through Healdesign.co.uk. However, I do understand that sometimes you may change your mind, so if for any reason you wish to return an item, I am happy to offer an exchange or refund, according to the following conditions.
Conditions of return or exchange
If you wish to return or exchange an item, please contact me in the first instance within 7 days of receipt. Returns and exchanges will not be accepted without prior notification in writing. Items must be returned unused and in its original presentation box or gift bag, both of which must be in the same condition as you received them. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Items must be returned by a recorded delivery service and insured for their full cost. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Once the item has been inspected and deemed to be in its original condition, a refund or an exchange will be made. Refunds will be for the original price of the item, less the original cost of delivery, and less the fees charged to me by the payment processing company. The refund will be made within 14 days using the same method through which you originally paid. Exchanges will be processed according to what has been agreed to at the time of notification of your wish to exchange your item.
The following will not be refunded, and cannot be returned or exchanged:
● Used items, unless faulty.
● Custom orders / orders made to your specifications, unless faulty.
● Earrings – including ear cuffs (for hygiene reasons), unless faulty.
Cancellations
If, for any reason, you wish to cancel your order, please let me know as soon as possible. If your package has not yet been dispatched, you will be refunded via your original payment method, less the fee charged to me by the payment processing company.
I reserve the right to cancel any order if there is no response to my attempts to contact you about your order.
Repairs & Guarantees
All items are quality guaranteed for a period of 6 months from date of purchase. I believe that this is a reasonable amount of time for regular wear to discover any defects in material and workmanship. If repairs are required within this time they will be made without any added cost, except in the case of design changes (including resizing) , postage and packing.
This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse (see ‘Everyday Use and Care of Gemstone Jewellery’). After this period a fee for repairs or alterations will be charged to cover materials, time and return postage.
Conditions of repair under guarantee
If you notice a defect in an item, please contact me in the first instance via email,healdesign@healtek.co.uk with a description of the defect, and photos where possible. Once it has been confirmed that a repair is warranted, the item needing repair must be carefully packaged and returned to, by an agreed method, within 5 days. Your return shipping costs will be reimbursed by healdesign Please obtain proof of posting from the post office. healdesign takes no responsibility for goods damaged or lost in transit.
Conditions of general repairs and/or alterations
If you require repairs/alterations to your item, please contact me in the first instance via email ,healdesign@healtek.co.uk . Once it has been confirmed that your repair/alteration can be done, the item needing repair/alteration must be carefully packaged and returned to Healtek Limited within 5 days. You are responsible for return shipping costs. It is recommended that you obtain proof of posting from the post office in case the package goes missing. Healdesign takes no responsibility for goods damaged or lost in transit. Once the item has been received you will be contacted and a quote will be given for the repair/alteration. Payment of this amount must be received within 3 days as per the Purchasing Policy –
Email List
Once you have made a purchase from Healdesign, you will automatically be subscribed to the mailing list, unless you opted out at check out. This list is used to notify you of new products; new blog posts; and special offers and discounts. You can unsubscribe at any time, using the link at the bottom of these emails.
